Inaugural Treasurer

Christine Evans brings both heart and financial expertise to her role as Treasurer on the Board of Directors at KidStuff Child and Family Counseling. With over 25 years of experience leading healthcare and business operations, Christine has a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and risk oversight—skills she leverages to support the organization’s fiscal health and long-term growth. Currently she serves as the Director of Operations at KidStuff Child and Family Counseling.
In her leadership at KidStuff, Christine works closely with the board to interpret financial data, guide decision-making, and ensure resources are allocated in ways that advance the mission of providing compassionate, accessible mental health care to children and families. She is committed to transparent, thoughtful communication, helping board members understand complex financial concepts and make informed strategic choices.

Christine’s dedication to the organization is deeply personal: she is passionate about creating a supportive environment where both staff and clients can thrive. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys engaging with her local community and supporting initiatives that strengthen families.

Board Member

Allan McLelland is a seasoned software engineer, entrepreneur, and community advocate with a deep passion for building systems, both technical and human, that bring people together and create meaningful impact. With over a decade of experience in full-stack web development and engineering leadership, Allan currently serves as Head of Engineering at Origin, a platform that empowers adventure outfitters to streamline their bookings, payments, and operations.

Allan brings to KidStuff’s Board of Directors a blend of technical insight, entrepreneurial perspective, and deep respect for the mission of supporting families and children. With his background in leadership, problem-solving, and community engagement, he is dedicated to helping KidStuff continue to grow as a trusted, compassionate resource for the people it serves.

Tasha Enright

Marketing Committee

Tasha Enright is a seasoned marketing strategist and communications leader dedicated to leveraging her expertise for social impact. With more than two decades of experience in brand management, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement, Tasha has led campaigns across sectors including healthcare, nonprofits, and education, helping organizations deepen connections with their audiences and communities, and to drive meaningful growth.

Currently, Tasha serves as the Business Office Manager for KidStuff Child and Family Counseling where she oversees daily business operations and marketing. Her work has resulted in measurable increases in awareness, client engagement, and community reach.

A passionate advocate for mental wellness, Tasha believes that everyone deserves access to compassionate counseling and support. On the board she combines her marketing acumen with heart to help break stigma, broaden visibility, and support sustainable growth so that no one is left behind.

Merrissa Scranton

Board Member

Merrissa Scranton brings nearly two decades of experience to the Board, dedicated to the well-being of children and families. She has walked the path of juvenile mentor, birth parent counselor, caseworker, and now serves as a supervisor.

Her life work is rooted in the belief that to truly make an impact, we must first see and hear. Merrissa’s deep passion is to be the echo for those often unheard, ensuring their needs and dreams are the compass for every goal.

Having journeyed through personal experience—navigating poverty, parental incarceration, and the child welfare system as a kinship provider—Merrissa understands the sacred importance of genuine connection. She stands as a living testament to the truth that meaningful relationships inspire hope and forge resilience. Merrissa joins the KidStuff Community Foundation Board committed to ensuring that, through accessible mental health care and community healing, we can continue building a brighter future.
